The website contains the data of nearly 600 persons who, each with their own dramatic story, died from the Second World War, as a result of acts of war, violence, racism or discrimination, and who died as a result of birth, residence (also temporarily) or death. bond with the municipality of Oldenzaal.
As part of 75 years of freedom, the magazine Oorlogskind in Oldenzaal is also published.
